The gutters and downpipes make up the rainwater disposal on the outside of the building. This is attached to the fascia board and is fixed to the lower edge of the roof which rainwater drains in to carrying off the surface water. There are many styles of guttering which are available. The fascia board is a straight long board which runs the length of the roof. This is fixed to the roof trusses which supports the last row of roof tiles.
